A great holiday for the  whole family awaits you here at the Meierlgut in Radstadt. Our farm with adjoining barn is situated on the edge of the forest, surrounded by scenic countryside. Our guests profit from our enthusiasm for farming. Our farm produce is carefully made into tasty delicacies. At breakfast our guests can enjoy our home-made jams, fresh milk, cottage cheese, butter etc.

The perfect holiday for families with children

Children can enjoy a farm holiday full of unforgettable experiences on our farm. Around the Meierlgut there is plenty of space for playing and romping around amid nature and due to the traffic-free location of our farm parents don’t  need to worry about the safety of their children. Kids particularly love our farm animals. Our cats and rabbits can be feed and stroked. You can also watch us going about our chores on the farm. Rainy days are also not a problem as there are plenty of things to keep children amused in our playroom, e.g. a dartboard or a table tennis table.

 

Just a few minutes walk away the neighbouring Mathiasbauer offers horse-riding for childen and adults on his Huzulen stud farm.

Hike to our own alpine hut

Our tip: enjoy hike up to our Almhütte in the Taurach Valley in summer. There you can meet our cows, which spend the warm months up on the Meieralm alpine pasture. In winter your can book a stay in our alpine hut for up to 14 persons.
